Riverview Tourist park is an ideal base to explore the region, with so much on offer give yourself plenty of time.

Canoe Hire

Canoes can be hired at the Park. Enjoy a paddle in the Margaret River. Listen to the birds and enjoy the view. Great fun to be had. Why not go for a dip too.

Sit back and let someone else drive while you visit some of the areas  top wineries, sample the many award winning wines and learn the history of  the Margaret River Wine region. Surfing

The recent elevation of this event to WCT status puts Margaret River in line with 10 of the top surf locations in the world, including Hawaii’s Banzai Pipeline and Teahupoo in Tahiti.

So whether you are a pro or just want to give it a go it’s a great place to ‘hang 10’.

Beach life

Whether you are into fishing, swimming, sail boarding or snorkeling, or simply just want to lay and catch some rays, the beaches close to Margaret River are ideal for any activity you choose.

Explore the caves

Offering some of the most unique and spectacular cave experiences in Australia, a visit to Mammoth, Lake or Jewel Cave will surely impress.

Leeuwin lighthouse

Take a tour to the top of the lighthouse tower… The views are breathtaking and this experience is not to be missed.

Mountain Biking

The region has an outstanding network of trails that take casual riders and serious mountain bikers into the heart of the region’s wildflower country and stunning forest. Maps available online at

Margaret River has many galleries to explore, exhibiting all mediums including paint, textiles pottery and glass.

Visit a Silk Farm

Visit Australia’s first commercial silk farm and learn how this industry helps impoverished regions overseas while producing home grown Australian silk products.

For guests with young families there are also many activities that will keep the young ones delighted.

Cuddle joeys and bottle feed the baby goats and lambs, definitely worth doing if you have children who are animal lovers.

For bigger kids how about a round of Supa Golf. Don’t worry if you have never held a golf club before, this is childs play! Hard to lose your ball too.
